Without an account

What you record stays on your device: items, categories, statistics, photos and settings. None of it is sent to us. The app only asks the server whether you are signed in. To answer, and to protect the service from abuse, your IP address is processed briefly and not stored by us.

With an account

An account is optional. If you create one, we store:

• Your email address, your name, your profile picture if you have one, and your password as a salted hash. If you sign in with Google, also your Google account ID. Your first Google sign-in imports your name and profile picture from Google.
• With Pro, your inventory syncs between devices. This includes item names, categories, quantities, prices, dates, photos, and how you let items go.
• Whether your account has Pro. We link purchases to your Stuffless account using a private billing ID.
• Shared collections you belong to, and the email addresses of people invited to them. Everyone in a collection can see and change what is in it, and sees who belongs to it.
• A session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is required for signing in, and we use no other cookies.

We use this data only to provide these functions. We do not sell it, show no ads, and use no analytics or tracking.

Camera and photos

The app uses the camera or your gallery only when you choose to add a photo. Inventory photos sync with your account when you are signed in and have Pro. Profile pictures are stored with your account.

Service providers

• Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting, database and photo storage.
• Resend: delivery of confirmation and password reset emails, which requires your email address.
• Google: sign-in, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
• RevenueCat: we use your private billing ID to verify Pro access. During checkout or restore, the billing SDK also processes device information and transaction details.
• Apple App Store or Google Play: processes your payment according to its own privacy policy. Stuffless does not receive your full payment card details.

These providers may process data outside the EU, including in the USA. Where they do, this relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses. All connections are encrypted.

How long we keep data

• Account data, inventory and photos: until you delete them or your account.
• Sessions: up to 30 days. Confirmation links: 24 hours. Password reset links: 30 minutes.
• A deleted item stays on the server as a marker without its content, so your other devices learn about the deletion. The marker goes with your account. Photos no item refers to anymore are removed daily.
• Recovery points of the database can hold deleted data for up to 30 more days.

Legal basis

Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for providing the functions you use, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR for complying with legal obligations and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object. Signed in, you can export all your data from the profile tab. For anything else, write to the address above. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one responsible for us, the Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz.

Children

Stuffless is intended for adults and not directed at children.

Ohne Konto

Was du erfasst, bleibt auf deinem Gerät: Gegenstände, Kategorien, Statistiken, Fotos und Einstellungen. Nichts davon wird an uns übertragen. Die App fragt beim Server nur ab, ob du angemeldet bist. Für die Antwort und zum Schutz des Dienstes vor Missbrauch wird deine IP-Adresse kurz verarbeitet und von uns nicht gespeichert.

Mit Konto

Ein Konto ist freiwillig. Wenn du eines anlegst, speichern wir:

• Deine E-Mail-Adresse, deinen Namen, dein Profilbild, falls vorhanden, und dein Passwort als gesalzenen Hash. Bei einer Anmeldung mit Google auch deine Google-Konto-ID. Bei der ersten Anmeldung mit Google werden dein Name und dein Profilbild von Google übernommen.
• Mit Pro wird dein Inventar zwischen deinen Geräten synchronisiert. Dazu gehören Namen der Gegenstände, Kategorien, Mengen, Preise, Daten, Fotos und Angaben zum Aussortieren.
• Ob dein Konto Pro hat. Wir verknüpfen Käufe über eine private Kauf-ID mit deinem Stuffless-Konto.
• Gemeinsame Sammlungen, zu denen du gehörst, und die E-Mail-Adressen der dorthin Eingeladenen. Alle Mitglieder einer Sammlung können ihren Inhalt sehen und ändern und sehen, wer dazugehört.
• Ein Sitzungs-Cookie, das dich angemeldet hält. Es ist für die Anmeldung erforderlich, weitere Cookies verwenden wir nicht.

Wir nutzen diese Daten nur, um diese Funktionen bereitzustellen. Wir verkaufen sie nicht, zeigen keine Werbung und verwenden weder Analyse noch Tracking.

Kamera und Fotos

Die App greift nur auf Kamera oder Galerie zu, wenn du ein Foto hinzufügen möchtest. Inventarfotos werden synchronisiert, wenn du angemeldet bist und Pro hast. Dein Profilbild wird mit deinem Konto gespeichert.

Dienstleister

• Cloudflare, Inc.: Hosting, Datenbank und Fotospeicher.
• Resend: Versand von Bestätigungs- und Passwort-E-Mails, wofür deine E-Mail-Adresse nötig ist.
• Google: Anmeldung, nur wenn du dich mit Google anmeldest.
• RevenueCat: Wir verwenden deine private Kauf-ID, um den Pro-Zugang zu prüfen. Beim Kauf oder Wiederherstellen verarbeitet die Kaufsoftware auch Geräteinformationen und Transaktionsdaten.
• Apple App Store oder Google Play: Der jeweilige Anbieter verarbeitet die Zahlung nach seiner eigenen Datenschutzerklärung. Stuffless erhält deine vollständigen Kartendaten nicht.

Diese Dienstleister können Daten auch außerhalb der EU verarbeiten, unter anderem in den USA. Grundlage dafür ist das EU-US Data Privacy Framework oder Standardvertragsklauseln. Alle Verbindungen sind verschlüsselt.

Speicherdauer

• Kontodaten, Inventar und Fotos: bis du sie oder dein Konto löschst.
• Sitzungen: bis zu 30 Tage. Bestätigungslinks: 24 Stunden. Links zum Zurücksetzen des Passworts: 30 Minuten.
• Ein gelöschter Gegenstand bleibt als Markierung ohne Inhalt auf dem Server, damit deine anderen Geräte von der Löschung erfahren. Die Markierung verschwindet mit deinem Konto. Fotos, auf die kein Gegenstand mehr verweist, werden täglich entfernt.
• Wiederherstellungspunkte der Datenbank können gelöschte Daten noch bis zu 30 Tage enthalten.

Rechtsgrundlage

Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO für die Bereitstellung der von dir genutzten Funktionen, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO für gesetzliche Pflichten und Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO für unser berechtigtes Interesse an einem sicheren Dienst.

Deine Rechte

Du hast das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung und Datenübertragbarkeit sowie das Recht auf Widerspruch. Angemeldet kannst du alle deine Daten im Profil-Tab exportieren. Für alles andere schreibe an die oben genannte Adresse. Außerdem kannst du dich bei einer Datenschutzbehörde beschweren, zum Beispiel bei der für uns zuständigen, dem Landesbeauftragten für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz.

Kinder

Stuffless richtet sich an Erwachsene und nicht an Kinder.
